Beautyrest 4th of July CAMPAIGN

Beautyrest, under the Serta Simmons umbrella, is one of the leading mattress suppliers with retail stores and a shoppable online presence. Beautyrest is marketed as the luxury brand among the Serta Simmons family of brands, with three mattress collections (Beautyrest Black, Beautyrest Harmony and Beautyrest with Nate Berkus).

the problem

Digital & print promotional assets were needed to showcase a 4th of July Sale. Each Beautyrest collection needed to be advertised separately in case certain retailers did not carry all of the mattresses. A new promotion lockup was needed that stayed on-brand with the modern, elegant look and feel. The 4th of July lockup has the freedom to experiment to showcase the spirit of the holiday.

the solution

A lockup was created for 4th of July playing with copy placement and typeface style to signify the bold and festive spirit of the holiday. Each collection has an existing brand color that was kept so that the promotional materials easily integrated with any existing signage, banners and elements on the site an in retail stores. Images were selected, edited and cropped to fit within the existing brand templates. Explore the assets created for this promotion below.

Promotion Lockup Design

Being one of the largest sales of the year, the request was to emphasize the promotion name and have the discount as the secondary message. I created a new promo name lockup that would catch attention even on the smaller web assets.

Emails

Wanting to test layouts using lifestyle imagery versus layouts using simplified silhouettes, I designed both versions of this promotional email. Both emails were deployed, going to different segments of the target audience. The new version that I created with the silhouettes was verified to be more successful for customer engagement, which assisted in the direction in which future emails were designed.

Retailer Printed Assets

Adjusted established templates to create a cohesive look and feel with the digital assets. The Tent Card is a tri-fold display that sits on top of the mattress in the retail environment. The Poster is displayed in a retailer's window.
